A new fresh meat class is on the horizon! Read about our information nights here!
Roller derby is a great way to meet amazing women from around the Southeast Missouri area, to get and stay in shape, to work towards goals, and to give back to the community. If you think that skating fast, getting knocked down and possibly breaking a bone or two sounds like the way to spend your free time then we want you!
It is also hard work! We commit to at least one practice a week, usually two (that’s three hours of blood, sweat, and tears), keeping in shape, working on a committee, volunteering, and being an active part of the Southeastern Missouri community.
Interested skaters should email Bobbie Soxxx, head of PR and Recruitment.
You don’t have to skate to be involved in CGRG! We also need refs, jeerleaders (roller derby’s special brand of cheerleaders), NSOs (non-skating officials) and volunteers. To be a jeerleader, contact Alice Skullen. NSOs and volunteers should come to a Fresh Meat night and contact Madame Hex, our Head NSO. Ref hopefuls should contact Jolly Dodge-Her, our head Zebra.
